Beginners trying to learn programming for the first time, with the intention to find a job, or for any other reason that would benefit from expert support.
Advanced programmers who are having trouble with a project or want to get a step up.
While the main goal of yourweekly.dev is long-term support, everyone seeking one-time help fixing a bug, help studying for an exam, or practice for an interview, is welcome. If this leads to a long-term collaboration, that's great

Talent and motivation are great, but without guidance and structure it's hit or miss. You might spend years of your life and never discover what an expert could have ingrained in you on day 1, saving you countless hours of not only time, but also stress and frustration.
Just behind doctors and pilots, developers are the highest paid people out there. In several ways it's considerably easier, but it's still a competitive market. With effort and dedication you'll likely find a job eventually, but without guidance it's guaranteed to take significantly longer, often at lower salaries, and without the knowledge and confidence needed to keep leveling up.
If you're not here to change careers, that's perfectly fine! The points above still apply. If you need help, you can find people like me on codementor, but they're likely to be more expensive, less qualified, and not provide support outside of the short time you spend with them.
For some people, simply committing to a service is enough to help them, like they would for a gym. My services provide much more value than that, but it can be a reason to sign up. We can discuss it and craft a plan for you to be held accountable.
The first 10 years of the classic career path were very rewarding, picking this career was the best choice I could have made. Over time I discovered I enjoy the mentoring aspect more than the day-to-day programming. I prefer building people over building apps, even if it makes much less money.
I do sometimes still take contract jobs when it's for a particularly interesting project or particularly interesting people. This won't affect my commitment to you: you're the priority, I will always plan around our schedule.
The flexibility and relaxed nature (for me) are also strong advantages, but this shouldn't discourage you from going through the grind yourself: I had mine, and I would regret it if I hadn't.
Your get rich quick scheme: it may still take months for you to find the right job, and you don't have to book me for the whole process if you prefer not to.
Only a mentoring/coaching service: feel free to reach out for one-time sessions, whether it's for career or a specific problem you're trying to resolve.
My get rich quick scheme: it's never happened, but if you're not satisfied with the session, let me know and you get your money back.
A "do my homework" service: you'll do the work, my role is to make sure your effort is going in the right areas, and to keep you accountable.
A trap: I want to see you succeed, not get stuck in the cycle. That's my personal goal. If you're not convinced, consider it also means better marketing.
